Comr. Adediran Okikijesu has been declared the Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Joint Campus Council, JCC, Osun Axis.

The announcement was made on Friday, August 28, during the ongoing 2026 NANS JCC Osun Convention at the NUJ Secretariat, Capital Area, Osogbo, Osun State.

Convention Chairman, Comr. Yekeen Rokeeb Oyewole, popularly known as Miokere, announced Okikijesu as the new Public Relations Officer during proceedings at the convention.

Okikijesu was first nominated for the position by Comr. Badiru Rohees Olawale, popularly known as Moore, the Students’ Union Government President of the Osun State College of Health Technology, OSCOHEALTH, Ilesa.

The nomination was subsequently seconded by SUG president of Obafemi Awolowo University, Comr. Itabi, before Okikijesu was declared for the position.

Further details regarding the seconding delegate and other proceedings surrounding the declaration are expected to emerge as the convention continues.

The convention brings together student leaders and representatives from tertiary institutions across Osun State as NANS JCC Osun Axis conducts its 2026 leadership transition.

Delegates arrived in Osogbo on Thursday, August 27, while the convention proper commenced on Friday at the NUJ Secretariat.

Okikijesu’s emergence marks one of the leadership outcomes being announced from the convention.

Other positions and the complete composition of the new NANS JCC Osun leadership are expected to be announced as proceedings continue.
